Our volunteers help us make a positive impact on the lives of the clients we serve. By joining our volunteer program, you will not only help us succeed in our mission, but also create an ecosystem for yourself where you can give back to the community and build relationships that can last a lifetime.

Volunteer Application Process:

The team will review your application. If you are a match for our current vacancies the Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to you for onboarding formalities.

In order to be onboarded as a Volunteer with us, you will need to sign the following. documentation: Non-Disclosure Agreement, Offence Declaration form, Parents Consent form to be signed by the parents if the applicant is under 18 years of age, and Volunteer Service Agreement. It may be necessary for you to submit a Vulnerable Sector check in order to participate in some of our programs. The Volunteer Coordinator will inform you if this is necessary.

A volunteer must also complete 3 online trainings and share the training certificates before they are onboarded. These trainings are a) Worker Health and Safety Awareness, b) Customer Service Standard Training, c) Call it Out (Racism, Racial Discrimination and Human Rights).

Upon receiving all the signed documents and training certificates, we will then invite you for an orientation on job responsibilities and to discuss your schedule with the Program Manager.

How old do I have to be to volunteer?

We welcome volunteers aged 14 and above to volunteer with us

What is the minimum time commitment required to volunteer?

The time commitment required may vary depending on the programs and/ or events. Most of them maybe flexible and can be accommodated as per your availability while some may require minimum number of hours’ commitment. The details can be discussed with the Volunteer Coordinator

Is Volunteering paid?

Volunteering is an unpaid opportunity wherein our volunteers donate their time, skills and effort to us

Will I need a Vulnerable Sector clearance to volunteer?

For some of our programs a vulnerable sector check is necessary, you will be informed about this during the onboarding process by the Volunteer Coordinator

Will you be able to provide me with a letter for my volunteering experience and hours?

Definitely. For a letter regarding volunteering, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator
